In 2018, we saw the rising popularity of online income programs and affiliate programs as a profitable means of making money online in Nigeria. Of course, while many people made lots of money with affiliate programs and get paid to read news sites in 2018, many of us didn’t benefit as much as those that came early to the scene of making money online (myself included). This is a refer.ng review to explain how you can make money with refer ng.
Although, I can only boast of making a paltry 50k+ sum on online affiliate programs in 2018, affiliate earnings helped me to pay some of my bills in 2018.
Today, I will be introducing Nigeria’s first referral marketing program to you. This site is not a“get paid for reading news” site or affiliate marketing website that allows you to earn from paid referrals like NNU and Newspay, rather it is a program that focuses only on paying people for every referral that they bring to the platform.

Have you been paid on Refer.ng yet?
After the Pioneer news income scam debacle, I realized that I need to inform you thoroughly of whether or not I have received payment on any making money online platform I introduce here on this blog.
I am yet to receive any payments from refer.ng referral marketing platform as at the moment I am writing this post.
So how do I believe that refer.ng is legit and not a scam?
Well, I have vowed to always work hard to prove the legitimacy of every online income program I hear about before writing about it on this blog or publicly because the pioneer news income scam really hurt my legitimacy to a lot of people who trusted me. So when I first heard about refer.ng (from a legitimate source) in December, I was skeptical. I kept searching for how to make money on the refer.ng platform without referrals but could not find any data on that and I decided to believe that refer.ng is a scam.
On the third of January, 2019, I stumbled upon refer.ng on that same legitimate source’s profile (Paul Samson, CEO of NNU) and decided to do a little research which yielded good fruit. I discovered that legitimate sites like Naijaloaded, Linda Ikeji’s blog and Prosper Noah’s website, were carrying the news of Refer.ng and that was when I realized that not only was the site legitimate, it was also owned by an important person in Nigerian society for the news to be carried by bigshots like Linda Ikeji, Prosper Noah, Makinde Azeez and Paul Samson.
Refer.ng is also registered under CAC reg no: RC 2737898.
Refer.ng is self-professed as Nigeria’s no. 1 refer and earn platform. Although the owner is unknown, it is a registered company and the site has been shared on prominent and popular sites in Nigeria proving its legitimacy.
Refer.ng is not a get paid to read news income program, neither is it a reading news site, you can only earn money with referrals on this site.
How does Refer.ng work?
You can register on Refer.ng with a one-time payment of 1,600 naira.
After your refer.ng registration with a payment of NGN 1600 which gives your referral a N1000 referral earning, you will receive a referral code which you can share on numerous platforms: Nairaland, Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp, Vk, etc.
Every time, someone signs up with your referral code (mine is Moshope), you earn a 1000 naira bonus.
Everyone who registers also earns a N100 registration bonus.

Right now with my experiences in 2018, I really don’t understand why people say getting referrals is so hard.
