Hello everyone, after my post about earning on Cixsense, I want to introduce you to the NNU income program.
Okay, I’m going to be truthful with you, I’ve heard about this opportunity since early this year but I was waiting till someone I knew took the risk, earned from it and presented me with the evidence. Shame on me, right? Well, that hesitance cost me some passive income while people like Mayor and Abigail were earning 25k and 70k respectively.
Sometimes it’s best to be hesitant about investing money online, so you don’t fall into the arms of scammers.

WHAT DOES NNU STAND FOR? WHAT DOES NNU MEAN?
NNU stands for Nigerian News Update. The Nigerian News update is also called NIP meaning NNU Income Program. And users of the Nigerian News update platform are called NIPers.
Anyone: students, graduates, job seekers, job owners, bloggers, etc can earn via this earning program. Unfortunately, the program caters exclusively to Nigerians. It’s too sad for my non-Nigerian readers.
NNU INCOME REVIEW: HOW NNU WORKS / OPERATES
WHAT IS NNU INCOME ALL ABOUT?
This income program has a mission of dealing with financial problems in Nigeria among youths, students, middle class and just about everyone as long as you’re ready to take advantage of an opportunity to make money online legitimately and earn a passive income on a monthly basis.
The program was created after the realization that not every Nigerian can actually prosper on MLM referral networks, that is, a program that pays you a percentage of money for referring someone. So they created NIP, a means for Nigerians to earn money without referral where earning with referrals is also possible.
WILL NNU CRASH SOON?
Not likely, this is the oldest read news / affiliate marketing program in Nigeria. It is very unlikely to crash especially when it has a membership of 600k people.
WILL NNU PAY WITHOUT REFERRALS?
NIP can pay you without referrals if and only if you have up to NGN 20000 NARS earnings.
This also applies to people with less than two referrals. Which means that even if you have one referral, you are in the same position as a person without referrals.
However, for those with more than 2 referrals, you can get paid.
NNU IS IT SCAM OR LEGIT? NNU IS IT REAL OR FAKE?
NNU is not a scam, it’s not a get-rich-scheme (I mean seriously, you get paid N2 for every news you read) and it’s most definitely not a Ponzi scheme.
WHO OWNS NNU?
NIP is a Double Your Hustle (DYH) idea created by Paul Samson under the auspices of G-Cyber Technologies, a professional web, and ICT business registered under Corporate Affairs Commission (2453653).
In case you don’t know him, Paul Samson is an internet and affiliate marketer, freelancer and blogger who has made a lot of money on the internet. He’s also the owner of coolnaira.com which is a referral network that has apparently paid over 15 million naira within 1 year plus and is still running smoothly.
NNU HOW TO EARN/ NNU HOW TO MAKE MONEY
There are many ways to earn through the NNU income program and today I’m going to explore the five major ways but before we go there, let me convince you of the authenticity of NIP.
#1 NNU AFFILIATE PROGRAM
The first way to make money on NIP is through their affiliate program. It’s the highest paying and kind of like the hardest/easiest way to make money on the program depending on who you ask.
It’s the highest paying because you can earn N1000 for everyone you refer to the program. But it’s the hardest way to earn because you actually have to find someone to refer and if you don’t know how to market and network, you might end up losing out of the affiliate program profit.
And apparently, to withdraw any money on the platform, you have to have at least two referrals, I’m sure this would discourage a lot of people but why not just direct someone to read this post and persuade them to sign up under you?
This is where you get your referral link:
#2 ACTIVE DAILY LOGIN:
For every login every day, you earn N50.
It’s that simple, so even without lifting a finger to do anything, you can earn N1500.
#3 READING NEWS AND COMMENTING:
You get N2 for every piece of news you read and at least 100 pieces of news are released every day. All you have to do is read at least 100 pieces of news and you earn 100*30= 3000 every month for reading just 100 pieces of news every day. Before you start reading, always make sure you’re logged in though because you might not get paid.
Reading just any news won’t get you paid, go to ‘Front page’, click the ‘Jump to latest posts’ and you’ll see news highlighted with time, you can click on news from 12:00 am till 12 pm of that day to get paid.
NNU HOW TO COMMENT
You also get N2 for every comment on the news but commenting is not compulsory and you will not get paid for irrelevant comments. E.g. comments like ‘Cool’ don’t get approved.
#4 POSTING NNU FORUM TOPIC:
You earn N100 for posting an interesting and engaging forum topic on the website, though you have to wait for the post to be approved.
#5 SHARING NNU SPONSORED POST ON FACEBOOK AND TWITTER:
A sponsored post is released on the site at irregular times every day and if you share the posts on your Facebook timeline or on Twitter, you earn N100 as long as you shared it based on the given instructions.
You can get sponsored posts from your Dashboard:
Click the sponsored post for the day (you only earn N100 for sharing the sponsored post of the day on that day):
You’ll find an image like this:
and a Facebook and Twitter text:
Save it and copy the text for either twitter or facebook and go to either your facebook timeline to share it or tweet about it:
NNU REGISTRATION GUIDE: NNU HOW TO REGISTER
In order to register with NNU community, you need to pay an entry fee of N1600. It’s to supposedly pay for your purchase of the NNU income Program Pack.
Even though it sounds like a scam, the payment of N1600 is a one-time payment after which you can continue to earn on the platform without paying an extra dime.
You have 2 payment options available:
I’m going to walk you through the paystack process.
Go to NNU, click the ‘Join NNU Income‘ option:
Click Register Now. After filling out the details with my affiliate name (Moshope) [or yours if you’re trying to register one of your own affiliates] in the space containing Referral, choose the Paystack option.
You will get a page like this, click to pay with paystack:
Then this pops up:
Fill in your correct details and pay.
2. Coupon Code
The second method is to send a message to any of the fellows on the list below on WhatsApp or call them so they can give you a coupon code.
You can then insert the coupon code in the part saying, “Coupon” and finish your registration.
That’s all there is to joining the program.
Once you register, you can click the underlined “My Account” link and you’ll be taken straight to a page where you’ll be able to login and then to the next page called, “My Account” from where you can check your earnings and referral earning. You can only get to your account after NNU registration and NNU income login.
HOW TO GET NNU REFERRALS?
There are many ways to get referrals for your NIP account.
- If you have a blog, write about NIP and share your experience with the world.
- You can share the link to this post on facebook with friends but strictly advise them to use your referral name or referral link to register.
- You can send ads to WhatsApp groups and hope to catch a fish. People I know, create WhatsApp groups for NIP unbelievers, wannabe-members, etc where they discuss how to earn on NIP.
- You can send ads on Facebook: your timeline, facebook groups, etc. Don’t send it as facebook personal messages if you don’t know the person because that’s just spamming.
HOW TO MANAGE YOUR REFERRALS
This is very easy. Manage them with a Whatsapp group.
Create a WhatsApp group exclusively for your referrals to ask questions about Nigeria News Update. This group will only be for those you have successfully registered on the program (who have paid) and when they ask questions, you’re expected to answer their questions.
It becomes like a Frequently asked questions forum such that after a while, old referrals start answering questions of your new referrals and things have been made easier for you.
HOW NNU PAY? WHEN DOES NNU PAY?
Payment is supposedly made between the 27th-30th of the month or the end of the month depending on how much is being paid out. However, from experience I can tell you that payment usually extends to 20th of the next month.
When you make a withdrawal, your profile and activities will be checked and if you are not eligible, you will get a reply before or during the month’s payout as to why.
To get paid, you have to make a withdrawal request before the 25th of the month.
You need to have earned a minimum amount of N5,000 including referral earning before you can make a withdrawal request and you can only make the request once a month.
WHY IS NNU NOT PAYING ME?
It’s simply because you don’t qualify to be paid or you have not met their requirements. For more information, read this full article, you’ll surely see where you’re getting it wrong.
NNU WITHDRAWAL PROCESS / NNU HOW TO WITHDRAW
The nnu withdrawal procedure is pretty simple. All you need is to go to your account dashboard and click the link to withdraw and you’ll be directed to the NNU withdrawal form which you will fill with the necessary details to make your nnu withdrawal.
Many people are still skeptical about NNU but making money is not an easy thing. You have to take risks. Check out this picture quote I found:
It is totally right. A wannabe entrepreneur (A wantrepreneur as Pat Flynn calls them) who can’t take risks is just someone who wishes to make money but may never make money. Truth be told, just like I thought MMM was going to crash someday while the going was good, I also think NNU might crash someday especially if not properly managed but I’m ready to take the risk to earn my money for as long as it lasts and if it crashes before I earn anything then so be it.
How many millionaires do you know who have become wealthy by investing in savings accounts? I rest my case. -Robert G. Allen
